Coronation Street fans have been left issuing the same hope after spoiler photos showed Lauren Bolton in the hospital - and she wasn't alone.
The teen recently returned to Weatherfield after going missing back in February. The character, played by Cait Fitton, was presumed dead following her sudden disappearance, which came after being sacked from her job at Roy's Rolls before later being visited by a mystery person, who fans of the ITV soap never got to see.
However, in May it was confirmed that it was Joel Deering who was behind her disappearance and a shocking flashback clip revealed the solicitor as being Lauren's secret 'boyfriend' and saw him brutally attack her with a chair leg. However, when Lauren tried to make her exit undetected, Joel found her and dragged her into a family room where they had an intense confrontation.
