Cops race to Glasgow city centre after 'disturbance' on bus as one man arrested

Cops have raced to an incident in Glasgow city centre as one man has been arrested.The incident took place on Great Western Road shortly after 3pm on August 26 when police rushed to the scene following reports of a disturbance.

Images show several police vehicles and officers speaking to eyewitnesses following the incident, reports Glasgow Live.Passengers on the bus where the disturbance reportedly took place were transferred to an alternative service as police dealt with the incident.A 44-year-old man has been arrested following the incident and an investigation is ongoing.A spokesperson for the force said “We were called around 3.20pm on Monday, 26 August, to a report of a disturbance on Great Western Road in Glasgow at Anniesland Cross.“Officers attended and a 44-year-old man was arrested.
