Chris's House walk offers hope of recovery for those who find themselves in 'dark places'

In a flood of yellow, hundreds of people from across Lanarkshire and further afield will walk from darkness into the light early on Saturday morning to remember loved ones lost to suicide.They will be taking part in the annual Walk of Hope, organised by Chris’s House – the Lanarkshire charity that provides peer support, intervention and assistance to people who may be feeling suicidal.Family members and friends who have lost loved ones to suicide will gather in the darkness from 4am on Saturday, May 11, before the bright yellow procession sets off across the River Clyde from the Glasgow Science Centre and along its embankments on a 5km circular route returning as dawn breaks.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
