Charlotte Crosby has faced cruel mum-shaming from fans after revealing she's started weaning her daughter Alba. Former Geordie Shore star Charlotte, who recently sparked a debate for not knowing exactly how old her child is, was sharing updates with fans in an Instagram Q&A session.

One fan asked: "How come your weaning Alba before 6 months? [sic]" Charlotte replied, with a cute picture of baby Alba eating from an Ella's Kitchen pouch, food all over her face. "So a number of reasons but the main one being that I was just soooooo excited to give it a try so when I saw that lots of the Ella's pouches have suitable from 4 months I dived straight in," she wrote, with a scuba diving emoji. "We started Alba around 4.5 months. There's lots of foods that should totally be avoided before the 6 month age so we just made sure we stayed clear from them ones.

And off we went into the world of wonderful messiness." She later added: "After a month and a bit I started giving her things to hold and eat herself like banana, avocado, toast, carrots, yorky pud. "Because she's done over a month now of getting used to different tastes and thicker consistencies and swallowing them I feel much more confident when she's having more solidly baby led things." She also shared that Alba now eats "absolutely anything" after a stage of weaning where Charlotte thought she hated everything. "They just need time to adjust to the fact they now entering a whole new side of food and then bang it just clicks we do a combination of baby lead weaning and spoon fed," she explained.
