Charles purchased the property, Llwynywermod, on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons National Park in 2007 and has since spent thousands more having the property resorted.
However the picturesque cottage was bought through the Duchy of Cornwall, which William took over last year following the late Queen's death in September.Typically Charles would spend a few weeks each summer at the property, and indeed it was here that he retreated after the death of his father, Prince Philip.
However since William took over, he has not renewed his father's lease. After September, the property will be available for hire by the general public. This means that while Charles can still stay in the property, he will have to pay rent and cannot keep his belongings in the home.
