The catalog features iconic music from several of the most renowned and celebrated composers in the world including John Williams, Thomas Newman, Danny Elfman, Alexandre Desplat, Rachel Portman, Mark Isham and Rob Simonsen.

Segura says he felt like L.A., in mid-pandemic, was falling apart. “I was like, ‘This city is turning into a shit show!'” he tells Variety. About one month after they moved, Pazsitzky suffered an injurious fall in their new home. And, as you might expect, Segura ended up turning the (non-life-threatening) accident into a bit, which is featured in “Tom Segura: Sledgehammer,” his upcoming stand-up special premiering July 4 globally on Netflix. In “Sledgehammer,” Segura recounts his uneasy 911 call that night requesting help. “I realized that, while what I’m about to say it true, it sounds… suspicious! But I gotta say it. So I’m like, ‘My wife fell down the stairs.'” Pazsitzky, who had misjudged a step when she got up in the middle of the night to check on one of the kids in their new home, broke her ankle and part of her tibia as a result of the fall. Jennifer Maas TV Business Writer Filming permit requests for TV and film projects in New York City were down 13% in April and 31.5% in May as the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike raged on, Variety has confirmed. According to information obtained by Variety, 760 requested shooting permits were issued to 177 projects by the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment in 2022, and 801 permits were granted to 227 projects in May last year. Comparatively, only 662 shooting permits were issued to 187 projects this April and 549 permits to 181 projects in May. The writers strike began May 2, following the WGA’s inability to ink a new contract with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) before the previous agreement expired May 1. Between April and May, the filming permits requested for shoots in NYC fell 17%, while in 2022 they had increased just over 5% between the two months.
