Britain's Got Talent in Ofcom storm as fans say show is 'stooping to new low'

Britain's Got Talent was back on our screens last weekend for the first instalment of the latest series but it has already received over 400 complaints from furious viewers.

For the first episode which aired on Saturday, 66 complaints were lodged and the next day that number had hiked to 334, writes The Mirror.The first two episodes of the ITV show unveiled a variety of different talents however, some branded them "unacceptable and dangerous" to fans as they complained about a dangerous audition in particular.

On Sunday evening, one show hopeful auditioned by taking on the Rubik's Cube whilst on fire. The audition saw the professional stuntman set himself alight as he tried to solve the iconic 80s puzzle.Thomas Vu was smothered in a fire-retardant gel which left the judges and audience in complete shock.One viewer took to social media to say they were appalled by the audition.

They wrote: "BGT absolutely not on, setting yourself on fire, do not try this at home. Shouldn't be allowed."Another wrote: "Like what has BGT come to when we set people on fire for entertainment."While another penned: "BGT totally ill considered showing a guy setting himself on fire whilst solving a Rubix Cube.
