A man has been arrested in connection with a spate of attacks on an adult store in Manchester's Gay Village. Clonezone on Sackville Street was targeted by thugs for a fifth time on Sunday (September 10) at around 2pm.

Police said a masked offender attempted to break the steel panels guarding the shopfront before throwing an object at the doors and security equipment, causing around £3,500 of pounds worth of damage.

This came after a spate of attacks in March, April and May. In an update issued today (Thursday), Greater Manchester Police said a 29-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
