Biker friends to film Glasgow to Istanbul trek in aid of Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity
dailyrecord.co.ukA pair of childhood friends with a passion for motorcycling are gearing up for the challenge of a lifetime this September.Army veteran Jay Davidson, 28, and mechanic David Fleming, 35, from East Kilbride, have pledged to ride a 6000km round trip from Glasgow to Istanbul with the aim of raising £5000 for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.Their two-week fundraising mission, called Smiles4Miles, will be a massive test of endurance riding their bikes through a number of European countries including Germany, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia and finally Turkey.
