Kehlani's Ex Javaughn Young-White Claims She's in a Cult, Files for Full Custody of Their Daughter
justjared.comJavaughn Young-White is filing for custody. The 27-year-old guitarist and father of 5-year-old daughter Adeya Nomi with Kehlani filed court documents asking for full custody, claiming that the 29-year-old “After Hours” singer is in a cult.
The two dated from 2018 to 2019. Keep reading to find out more… “Adeya was born through a home birth orchestrated by what I would describe as a cult that she belongs in,” he wrote in the documents, via People. “Due to the fact that Adeya was born in a home and not in a conventional setting like a hospital, my name is not on Adeya‘s birth certificate.” He alleges that he’s requested his name be added to his daughter’s birth certificate for five years, but has yet to hear back from the singer.
She also won’t give him their daughter’s social security number, and says he’s not sure Adeya even has one.
He also alleges that the group controls Kehlani‘s actions and their behavior “including when it comes to the upbringing of our daughter.” He says that the cult leader convinced Kehlani that he was a danger to their daughter and that he would kill her, and that she should block him from seeing Adeya for months.
