Nikita and his celebrity dance partner, actor and West End star Layton Williams stunned the BBC One dance contest judges and viewers with their sensational routines during the last series, with them earning more top marks in the 21st series than any other couple.

The 26-year-old competitive dancer was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of just 13, a condition that causes a person's sugar level to become too high.
