Coleen Rooney has reportedly decided to stay put in Cheshire with her sons, despite her husband Wayne's new role as head coach of Plymouth Argyle.

The Championship side announced the appointment of the former England captain back in May, succeeding Ian Foster. Wayne, 38, is set to lead The Pilgrims for the first time tonight as they face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Despite his description of Devon as the 'Monaco of England', the Mail on Sunday reports that Coleen will not be relocating and has decided instead to remain at their £20m Cheshire mansion with their four sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass.

Tonight's match against Sheffield Wednesday marks Rooney's return to professional management since his departure from Birmingham City in January after a mere 83 days at the helm.
