BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans spot 'two new dancers' after outcry over professionals 'snub'

Some eagle-eyed Strictly Come Dancing fans were left slightly confused as they spotted 'two new dancers' during the latest results show.

The latest dance-off and elimination took place following another epic night in the ballroom. The first special of the BBC One dance contest's new series on Saturday night (October 5) saw the couples channel their inner film stars as they performed routines with songs from the likes of Mrs Doubtfire, George of the Jungle, Harry Potter and Dreamgirls.

The latest live show opened with a group number from the show's professional dancers who transformed into minions from the Despicable Me franchise while Kai Widdrington, who was left without a celebrity dance partner this year, appeared as the film’s villain, Gru, donning a bald head and a prosthetic nose.
