The pair were back in the ballroom on Saturday night (December 2) for the BBC One dance contest's Musicals week. Not only was it Musicals week, it was also the all-important quarter-finals but this weekend, the couples didn't have to fight for their place in the competition.
At the eleventh hour, it was revealed that Nigel Harman had to withdraw form the competition alongside dance partner Katya Jones due to the actor sustaining a rib injury and ending up in A&E.
It meant that only four couples were left in the competition, with two weeks to go until the final, and with Amanda Abbington withdrawing from the contest earlier in the series, a decision was made to cancel this weekend's dread-dance off and subsequent elimination.
