BBC Breakfast took a very awkward yet hilarious turn on Monday morning, although some hosts were left concerned for their co-star as Carol Kirkwood after she lost control of a dog.

The 61-year-old television host had been accompanying some search dogs on the grounds at Wimbledon, ahead of another day of tennis when the unfortunate incident occurred and she took a tumble to the floor thanks to an excitable pooch.In the clip, the furry companion appeared distracted by something off-camera when the dog hauled Carol across the floor but thankfully she seemed prepared for the chaotic moment as she was already crouched on the ground.As she spoke to her co-stars, who were live in the studio, suddenly the dog sped off into the distance while Carol was holding its lead.

Carol looked shocked but didn't have time to stop herself from falling as she was pulled away, writes The Mirror.
