Baby in hospital after dog attack in Wales

A five-month-old baby is currently in hospital following an alleged dog attack. Gwent Police attended to an address in Penyrheol, Caerphilly, Wales, at around 9.10am, on Saturday, April 29 following reports of a dog attack.

Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service. The baby was taken to hospital and reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

It is also understood that no other animals were involved in the incident, with the dog involved being seized by officers, Wales Online reports.
