Andy Burnham explains 'serious incident' which led to brutal GMP Manchester Airport video

The Greater Manchester mayor said that, having seen the full footage leading up to the incident , it was not a 'clearcut situation'.
His comments come after GMP confirmed an officer has been suspended following the incident. Video footage of the incident, which was taken at Terminal Two which took place on Tuesday (July 23), has been shared widely on social media.
A protest was held outside Rochdale Police Station last night (July 24) with local leaders now appealing for calm.
