Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has told her fans that there is one thing that happens every morning that 'breaks her heart' as she continues with her cancer treatment.

The professional dancer announced in June that she had undergone a mastectomy after discovering that she had stage three breast cancer.

Amy later said doctors found another type of cancer and has since been documenting her treatment journey, in the hope that it will raise awareness and encourage others to check themselves for lumps.

On Sunday, the 33-year-old issued an update to her followers about how she was feeling as she undertook her second cycle of chemotherapy. "Thanks for all the lovely messages," she began. "A little update on cycle 2.
