The Strictly Come Dancing cast paid an emotional tribute to show star Amy Dowden during the National Television Awards amid her battle with breast cancer.

The professional dancer, 33, won't be able to take part in the upcoming season of Strictly as she undergoes chemotherapy treatment after announcing in May that she has cancer.

But Amy looked stunning as she attended the glitzy NTAs at London's O2 wearing a gorgeous floor-length dusty pink ball gown.

As Strictly scooped up the Talent Show award, the Welsh ballroom star joined the fellow professionals on stage. Former contestant and The X Factor star Fleur East gave Amy a special mention as she accepted the award.
