90s pop legend 'trying to stay positive' as they give update on devastating diagnosis
ok.co.ukDario G, nineties pop legend know for his hit song Sunchyme, has provided fans with an update on his health after revealing he was diagnosed with cancer.The singer, who's also known as Paul Spencer, hit it big 26 years ago when his 1997 hit reached number number on the UK Singles, and has continued to perform his DJ set all over the world ever since.
However, heartbreakingly, the 52 year old shared his diagnosis on Twitter (X) in June this year, telling followers at the time he was "trying to stay positive".
Paul has since been battling stage four rectal cancer and wrote to fans: "Hard to write this. I’ve just found out that I’ve got stage 4 rectal cancer and a shadow on my liver.That’s damn hard to read too I’m sure. "Gonna give it my best shot though.
Stay positive, cos I am. Always. Seeing the doctors on Friday to discuss the next steps." Now, in an update on his health, the star spoke to The Mirror and said he's been doing "really well" as he undergoes chemotherapy.
