Youngsters from Lanarkshire school take on Tinto Hill to raise money for great cause

First year pupils from a high school in North Lanarkshire were feeling on top of the world after completing a charity climb for a fantastic cause.On Thursday, May 25 over 90 S1 pupils and 10 staff members from St Aidan’s in Wishaw climbed Tinto Hill to raise vital funds for St Andrew’s Hospice.The day itself was warm with glorious sunshine but the heat didn’t stop Xander Boslem, Shay McGowan, Jake Watters and Lucia Chiriac being the first pupils of the day to reach the top in just under an hour.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
