A young woman thought she was going to 'die alone' after she was thrown down a 13-foot drop in a horror quad bike crash while on her dream holiday in Greece.

Courtney Leanne Boylan, 22, from Monsall, north Manchester, is currently in intensive care with serious injuries in an Athens hospital.

She had saved up for the dream solo trip to Greece when a quad bike she was on with a friend hit a fence and sent her hurtling down the steep edge, with the vehicle then landing on top of her.

She was airlifted to hospital after the horrific crash, on June 28, and has been left with pleural effusion, a split liver, a torn spleen and severe internal bleeding.
