Manchester United have reached an agreement with youth striker Chido Obi-Martin. Obi-Martin was shown around Carrington earlier this month and United were hopeful of signing from him Arsenal, who offered the youngster terms to continue in London.
The Manchester Evening News can now confirm United have reached an agreement with the player and he's expected to sign, despite there being details that still need to be finalised.
It's understood United's head of the academy, Nick Cox, and the head of academy recruitment, Luke Fedorenko, are responsible for the deal to sign Obi-Martin.
Once the move is complete, it will be considered a significant coup and the work of Cox and Fedorenko has been crucial.
