A young and previously active man's mystery illness has caused a brain tumour to grow back following an operation. Wesley Klok, 25, is preparing to undergo brain surgery after suffering from double vision and weeks of debilitating symptoms, including painful headaches and feeling drowsy all day long.As reported by Edinburgh Live, he was eventually left unable to work or even get out of bed.

Wesley moved to the capital from Amsterdam to stay with a friend in 2020, but just two years later he found himself alone in hospital undergoing major surgery.Wesley said: "The first time I got diagnosed with a benign tumour was in the hospital last September after weeks of visiting my GP with symptoms.

I knew something was wrong a few weeks before I found out but my GP kept telling me to come back and see if the symptoms went away.

I was really drowsy, couldn’t walk straight and felt like I was drunk all day for three weeks. "At first they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me or what I needed, then finally I had an MRI and they discovered a tumour on my brain.
