Women found guilty of murdering boyfriend after stabbing him through the heart

A woman has been convicted of murdering her boyfriend who was almost half her age. Natalie Bennett, 47, murdered her partner Kasey Anderson, 24, after attacking him on Saturday, March 11.

She plunged a knife into his chest and attempted to stab him in the head as he lay dying on a neighbour's driveway, reports the Liverpool Echo.Liverpool Crown Court heard how Kasey had phoned a 999 call handler and told them that "he was dying," but Bennett then claimed to police that he had arrived at her home on Carr Lane East in Croxteth "like that".The verdict was reached this afternoon, Wednesday, October 4, after four hours and 42 minutes of deliberations, with Bennett showing no reaction.As the verdict was read out in court, members of Kasey's family cried "yes" and burst into applause, before becoming tearful.Two of the jury members were also seen to be in tears and Kasey's auntie Denise Anderson was heard to say "justice for my lad" as she left the courtroom.Bennett will be now sentenced on November 10.

Judge Denis Watson KC told her: "You have been convicted of murder, for which there can only be one sentence - imprisonment for life."It is possible there may be some medical information that may touch on the minimum term I must assess before you can be considered for release.
