Motherwell boss: Family fun day can help fans get right behind us against Ross County

Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell wants his side to seize home advantage against Ross County this afternoon, and for as many fans as possible to enjoy the Premiership clash and a family fun day.The club have set up several activities for all ages outside the Phil O’Donnell Stand on Saturday, such as face painting, stalls, and inflatables.They’re also allowing season ticket-holders to bring a friend to the game for £5, and Kettlewell says that’s about giving something back to the community.But he says it’s also a serious attempt to get their season back on track, after a run of four straight defeats, when Malky MacKay’s Staggies visit ML1.Kettlewell said: “Ross County at home becomes a good game for us, in the sense that we as a club have decided to go into a family fun day.“We’re encouraging people to come along, to bring their friends.“There will be a bit of engagement with myself, the staff and the players before the game, which is something we did last season, and it was great.“It’s a situation where you feel that you give a little bit back to the supporters as well.“I know the staff have something set up in an outdoor area alongside the main stand, so I’d encourage everybody to come along to that.“But it’s going to be a keenly-contested game between two teams who are in a similar position in the league, similar number of points.“But with home advantage, and that we do feel as if we have been playing well, we feel that we give ourselves a chance.“Hopefully we can get three points and try and make it a really worthwhile day for the club.”Kettlewell added: “It’s a home game, we’ve been so competitive against everybody we’ve played against at home, and we’ve had a really good record up until the last couple of away
