A woman who had to learn how to walk again after being involved in a horror crash that killed her dad was so inspired by the medics that helped her recover, that she switched careers to the NHS.Bethany Lee broke both femurs and "basically everything" inside her ruptured when the car she was in was hit from behind by a van on the motorway.

She spent months recovering, with seemingly endless treatments and surgeries - and she had to spend Christmas and her 21st birthday in a hospital bed.But the worst impact of the horror crash on the M60 near Salford on December 4, 2018, was the loss of her dad.

Peter Lee was Radcliffe Borough FC photographer and was travelling home from a Lancashire Cup game with his daughter and five others when tragedy struck, Manchester Evening News reports.The group were coming home from Ashton Athletic's ground when the collision between a Ford Transit van, a silver Toyota Avensis people carrier and a black BMW 1 series took place near junction 16.
