The company designs and manufactures Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP) mouldings, including transformer cabinets and sub-stations, for the electricity, gas, water and telecommunication industries.With two premises in Wales, Envico wanted to expand and decided that a base in the north of England or Scotland would allow them to supply customers in these areas more easily and cost effectively.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Production started in August last year when building work was finished and staff recruited.Another factor in the decision to locate to North Lanarkshire was the support available from North Lanarkshire Council and other agencies.They received a £50,000 capital expenditure grant from the council to install a new extraction system, as well as assistance with recruitment and an introduction to the Business Gateway Lanarkshire service.
