Two men arrested in connection with alleged attempted murder in Clydebank
dailyrecord.co.ukPolice investigating an alleged attempted murder in Clydebank have made two arrests. A 62-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident on Alexander Street shortly after midnight on Monday May 8.
The alleged victim, a 38-year-old man, is said to have stumbled to a nearby takeaway for help. He was then rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow shortly after midnight where medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
His injuries are now said to have been serious, but not life-threatening. A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that the pair had been taken into custody but have since been released pending further enquiries.
