Tragic Paisley woman's memory honoured as golf event raises thousands for charity

A memorial day in honour of tragic Paisley woman Danielle McKee, who died at just 23 years old, was held recently.Danielle, who worked at the deli counter in Morrisons at Anchor Mills, passed away just two days after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in November 2017.She was born with DiGeorge Syndrome which can cause a range of lifelong health problems.

The former Gleniffer High School pupil was hailed a “miracle baby” when she was born.She was delivered with two holes in her heart – one the size of a 20p piece.

Her parents were told her weakened immune system meant even a kiss could be fatal.But Danielle grew stronger and developed into a fun-loving girl who loved jetting off to exotic destinations.However, in 2017, she died suddenly following her diagnosis.
