Victoria Beckham enjoyed a laugh at husband David's expense over the weekend after he came dangerously close to slipping over infront of thousands of people.

On Sunday, 16 July, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar, 48, was in Florida at his football club Inter Miami's DRV PNK Stadium for the special unveiling of new signing Lionel Messi - considered by most to be the finest footballer to ever lace a pair of boots - but a mishap threatened to ruin his day.The traditional ceremony was delayed thanks to stormy weather conditions, but when it finally got underway, Becks lost his footing for a split second on the wet surface of the platform through to the field.

As you'd expect, 'the fall that never was' had been videoed from the crowd and went on to reach TikTok. Victoria, 49, reposted the clip on her own Instagram Stories soon after, jokingly captioning it: "He's not a natural on the catwalk." Upon taking to the stage, World Cup 2022 winner Lionel, 36, spoke a translated Spanish to 20,000 adoring supporters ahead of his debut game for Inter Miami. "I really want to start training, to compete," he began. "I have the same desire that I always had to compete, to want to win, to help the club continue to grow. "I am very happy to have chosen to come to play in this city with my family, to choose this project and I have no doubt that we are going to enjoy it a lot.

We are going to have a good time and very good things are going to happen." The Argentinian, who stunned the world for years with his skill in a Barcelona shirt, went on to share: "I want to thank all the people of Miami for this welcome, this affection.
