ok.co.ukJames Argent has spoken about his binge-eating and drug addiction struggles in a revealing new interview. Since being in the public eye, the former The Only Way Is Essex star has candidly detailed his battle with addiction as well as his health problems.
James, who recently posed in a poolside snap with his mum, is in a much happier place since the gastric sleeve procedure he had two years ago.
And in an appearance on GB News, the 35 year old told Nana Akua confirmed just how happy and healthy he was after the "tough time" in his life, which involved a struggle with substance addiction. "I battled with that for a number of years.
But I've got through it, and I'm doing alright," he said. "I'm doing well. I'm clean, sober, and I have been for a long time now." The star last suffered from a scary relapse in his drink and drug addiction recovery in February 2022 and ended up being visited by paramedics in an ambulance.
