The work of unpaid carers across South Lanarkshire has been praised as Carers’ Week takes place.The Director of Health and Social Care has recognised the commitment and compassion of unpaid carers amidst the national awareness week, which began on Monday (June 5) and ends on Sunday (June 11).Professor Soumen Sengupta underlined the appreciation for unpaid carers in South Lanarkshire and reinforced the Health and Social Care Partnership’s commitment to working with partners to support them.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
