Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.
Taylor Swift stumbled on the stairs during her Eras Tour concert Friday night, giving the “Anti-Hero” singer a fright in front of more than 50,000 fans at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.Video shared on social media showed Swift, 34, tripping slightly over her long dress as she descends several steps on her elevated “Folklore” cabin.
But the pop star did not take a tumble — and she shook it off with a remark.“My life flashed before my eyes,” she said onstage later. “It’s all good, everything’s fine, everything’s great.
I’m just so happy that I didn’t fall.”The singer also recently nearly wiped out during her sexy “Vigilante S–t” chair performance while in town.
Swift’s four shows in Tokyo, her first time performing in Japan since 2018, will pump an estimated $228 million into the nation’s economy, according to EconomicImpact.net.Grammy Awards host Trevor Noah joked about Swift’s traveling dollar-sign effect at last Sunday’s ceremony in Los Angeles.“As Taylor Swift moves through the room, the local economy around those tables improves,” Noah cracked. At the Grammys, Swift made history.
