‘Suzume’: Makoto Shinkai Animated Film To Stream Exclusively On Crunchyroll This November
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Crunchyroll announced today tha auteur filmmaker Makoto Shinkai’s animated FILM Suzume will come to its streaming service exclusively on November 16.
The award-winning film will be available in North America and all of Crunchyroll’s international territories (excluding Asia and France).
Suzume is a coming-of-age story for the 17-year-old protagonist, Suzume, set in various disaster-stricken locations across Japan, where she must close the doors causing devastation.
This is the latest film from auteur Makoto Shinkai who has been a visionary in the animation space for decades, with the most recent films being Your Name (2016) and Weathering With You (2019) both of which have catapulted him as a leading animation filmmaker with international viewers.
