Strictly's Adam Thomas 'running on empty' amid health concerns after training

Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas has shared that he is "running on empty" as he continues training for his upcoming stint on the dance floor.The former Emmerdale actor, 35, was recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis but has not let this stop him from taking part in this year's Strictly.

However, the training appears to have begun taking its toll, as he shared an update to Instagram, posting a snap of himself in bed with his son Teddy, nine, and daughter Elsie, five, and the family dog.

Captioning the sweet snap, he wrote: "Missed these guys!!! Mad how a lil family time and good night sleep, can change everything! "Been running on empty the last couple of days, but time to stop being a wet lettuce and crack on haha "Feeling grateful for every opportunity and every lesson thrown my way, just need to enjoy the process a lil more now!

My heads well and truly been falling off but it’s back on tight now let’s gooo! Keeeeeep smiling!!!!" Fans were quick to send Adam messages of support, with one writing: "Keep smiling and dancing.
