Adam Thomas has shared how he was left in tears when Luba Mushtuk revealed their next dance on Strictly Come Dancing. The Waterloo Road actor was left fighting tears over the weekend following his second performance on the BBC One dance contest.

Adam, who is known for playing Donte Charles in the BBC One school drama, and Luba took to the ballroom floor to perform a dramatic Tango to the song Somebody Told Me which is by the The Killers but opted for the Maneskin version.

The couple earned 23 points and received some positive feedback from the judges, including Motsi Mabuse who said the former Emmerdale star had been "more engaged" this week.

However, Adam couldn't help but hold back tears as he received his comments before going on to speak to Claudia Winkleman backstage following the performance.
