Tess Daly has softly hit back at fans who shared the same accusation over a video of her and her husband Vernon Kay. The showbiz couple have teamed up with Marks and Spencer and have been trying out some of the new biscuits they have on offer.

The video sees BBC Radio 2 host Vernon arriving home with his M&S shopping bag before popping it on the kitchen counter and pulling out a range of sweet treats and some teabags that are said to make your brew taste like a luxury shortbread biscuit.

Tess then popped the kettle on and made a pot of the uniquely-flavoured hot drink. After a 'cheers' with their matching tea cups, the pair got stuck into taste testing the new products and gave their verdicts as the video went on.

Captioning the clip, Tess clarified it was an advert before writing: "@marksandspencer have upped their biscuit and hot drinks game, updating their everyday classics & new additions like Luxury Shortbread Biscuit Teabags and Chocolate Hazlenut Wafers (yum)!" But it appears that some didn't believe Tess was a regular biscuit eater. @merliza37 said: "As if tess eats biscuits?!!!" @shazzadeeee echoed: "Christ like Tess has ever eaten a whole biscuit." And upone seeing the first comment, presenter Tess, who hails from Stockport, was keen to respond.
