The professional dancers performed a paso doble, led by Nancy Xu and Dianne Buswell, during Sunday night’s results show. They gave a breathtaking and dramatic dance, which initially began in a silent studio before the band performed Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmeralda.
Strictly fans hailed it as “incredible” and “epic”, with one saying it was the best professional dance they had seen in a long time.
A former professional dancer and two time winner of the show, Oti had already caused a stir among viewers during Saturday night’s show when she was spotted in the audience.
