South Lanarkshire Council marks its official commitment to becoming age friendly

South Lanarkshire Council marked history when it became the first local authority in the country to become age friendly.At an Executive Meeting in February, councillors officially put in writing a programme to achieve an age friendly community.Now, a letter of commitment has been submitted to the World Health Organisation that formally completes the process.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
