Fans heading into city centre this evening for the Manchester City treble parade have been warned of delays. The team are set to make for the streets of Manchester this evening to celebrate their remarkable triumph after winning the Champions League final in Istanbul this weekend.
Celebrations will consist of a bus parade starting at Beetham Tower on Deansgate, which will make it's way as far as Marks and Spencer before moving onto Cross Street. But fans heading into the city centre have been warned that access to the stage has been delayed due to 'adverse weather conditions.' It comes after the heavens opened for a short period of time.
Much of the region has been basking in temperatures of up to 30C today (Monday), but a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms is in place across much of Manchester until 9pm tonight.
