Rap icon Snoop Dogg was welcomed to Glasgow in true Scottish style – after a piper was invited to play him off the plane with a remix of West Coast rap.
Ross Ainslie was only given a day's notice after being asked to perform for the 51-year-old legend, real name Calvin Broadus Jr., who is currently touring the UK.
But Glasgow Live reports that the star gave Ross a rousing review of his piper's rendition of Dr Dre tune Still D.R.E. In footage posted to Ross' Instagram page, Snoop – draped in a tartan throw – can be seen dancing on the tarmac at Glasgow Airport as the piper plays the song's well-known melody.
He then turns to Ross and gives him a big thumbs up and a smile. The camera then pans back to the piper, who can't resist a smile as he continues to play the pipes.
