Anya Taylor-Joy’s fans defend her against ‘far apart eyes’ claims
W magazine back in 2016 has resurfaced, following a recent tweet that has gone viral talking about her facial features. The account Pop Tingz posted about the old profile on April 14 and noted how Joy stopped looking in mirrors after seeing mean comments online. In the “W” story, the “Split” star recalled how social media contributed to her low self-esteem.“I can definitely remember when Facebook was a thing and I was never aware that my eyes were far apart, and then someone tagged me in a picture with a fish and they were like, ‘This is you ’cause your eyes are, like, here,'” she explained to the publication. “And I was really upset about it and I didn’t enjoy it and I kind of stopped looking in mirrors for a very long time,” she admitted.
