Slash is continuing to speak out about his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight, dedicating a heartfelt post to the late 25-year-old one week after her sudden death.

Taking to Instagram, the Guns N’ Roses rocker, 59, posted a photo of Knight and shared that he hoped she was “at peace now.”“My heart is permenantly [sic] fractured.

I will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been. & still are,” Slash wrote over the weekend.“The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much,” the musician continued. “I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now.

I will love you eternally.”Knight passed away in a private residence on July 19. The Post confirmed with the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner that her cause of death has been deferred and is pending additional testing, which could take weeks.On July 21, Slash revealed she “passed away peacefully.” “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, on July 19, 2024,” he announced.The legendary guitarist said his stepdaughter was “an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul” before asking for privacy for the family.Slash also requested that “social media speculation be kept to a minimum,” as her loved ones “grieve and process this devastating loss.”Knight’s mother, Meegan Hodges, and Slash first dated in 1989.
