The teenage victim of an unprovoked stabbing in Blackley has spoken out about the moment he was knifed in the leg and left 'covered in blood'.

15-year-old Milosz was walking with two friends towards Plant Hill Park, along Lion Brow, when he said two people were stood outside St Peter's Church on Saturday evening (April 13).

It was then that one of them 'grabbed him' as he tried to walk past, before 'shouting for his mates', when around six people 'came round the corner', a number of them wearing balaclavas. After falling to the floor, Milosz said he felt a 'sharp pinch' in his legs before the suspects ran off with his mobile phone. "I started getting hit; I was with two other people and one of them was a girl, and she was trying to get in between," he said. "I was on the floor and felt a sharp pinch, I barely felt it at all at first. "I got up and started walking back, and looked down at my pants and the next thing I knew, the left side was covered in blood." The Manchester Evening News understands police are now investigating the knife attack that was reported at around 7pm along Lion Brow, a narrow road in Blackley.
