Coronation Street fans have pointed out Nicky Wheatley's error and say Bethany Platt also 'messed up' as they try to help Daniel Osbourne, who remains a suspect in Lauren Bolton's disappearance case.
The teen went missing at the end of February after being sacked from her job at Roy's Rolls by Roy Cropper. The cafe owner later visited her with her wages and some extra cash to tide her over.
But soon after, the teen was visited at home by a mystery person who viewers of the ITV soap never got to see and she hasn't been seen since.
It was new love interest and Carla Connor's nephew Bobby who found her flat unlocked and eerily empty. While Bobby did report Lauren as missing to the police, it wasn't until Sean Tully was viewing the flat and revealed he'd spotted blood on the curtains, which was later confirmed as being Lauren's, the missing person case became a murder probe.
