SiriusXM to Launch Taylor Swift Channel, ‘Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version),’ for Limited Time

Jem Aswad Executive Editor, Music SiriusXM has announced that Taylor Swift will have her own limited-engagement SiriusXM channel, “Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version),” starting Sunday, April 7, 13 days ahead of her forthcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department.” The channel will air 24/7 across North America and will be a destination for Swift’s music from across her 17-year career, including favorites, all “(Taylor’s Versions),” “From the Vault” tracks, live recordings, bonus tracks and more.

The 13th day of the channel, Friday, April 19, coincides with the release of “The Tortured Poets Department.” The channel will be playing the full album throughout the weekend. “The versatility of Taylor’s music and the phenomenal impact she’s had in her career across so many musical genres will be on full display on Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version),” said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer. “We’re all experiencing a legend at work and are so thrilled to work with Taylor to present a one-of-a-kind channel that connects her fans with her extraordinary body of work.” The channel will be available to subscribers across North America in their cars on channel 13 and with the SiriusXM app from Sunday, April 7 through Monday, May 6.

Swift announced the new album at the Grammy Awards during her acceptance speech for best pop vocal album for “Midnights.” “Okay, this is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number.

I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that,” Swift joked at the top of her speech. “I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way, but I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.
