Knock a wall down or paint the door a different colour if you have to. Multiply that analogy into billionaire terms and, make no mistake, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is planning a major shake-up at Manchester United.
But the INEOS businessman must be pragmatic, moving the club forward in a measured, calculated way - rather than a wrecking ball.
