Sickening attack sees two dogs maul woman's much-loved cat to death
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA woman has been left heartbroken after her beloved cat was ripped to pieces by two dogs off their lead. Snowy the cat was out exploring in Nelson early on Sunday (June 25) morning when a dog chased after her.
CCTV footage from a house directly next to where the attack happened shows the terrified cat taking shelter under a parked car but when a second dog appears she makes a desperate bid for freedom only to be grabbed by one of the dogs, LancsLive reports.
For almost a minute the two dogs fling the cat and tug at either end while Snowy wails and screams. A man can then be heard shouting "get off" before two women appear on the scene. We have also turned off the sound so viewers aren't able to hear Snowy's screams. As Snowy lays dead on the floor the two women walking the dogs come over and barely give her a second glance as they put the dogs on their leads.
