Olympic superstar Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has revealed the Paris Games will be her last. The Jamaican sprinter – who bagged two golds for 100 metres and another for the 4x100 relay – outlined how she now wants to spend more time with her family."My son needs me," the 37-year-old admitted. "My husband and I have been together since before I won in 2008.
He has sacrificed for me. We're a partnership, a team. And it's because of that support that I'm able to do the things that I have been doing for all these years.
And I think I now owe it to them to do something else."In 2008, there was chatter about whether the then-unknown Fraser-Pryce should be replaced by the more popular Veronica Campbell Brown at the Olympic trials.
However, not long after, she led a Jamaican sweep in the 100 at the Beijing Games and grabbed her first out of eight Olympic medals."I undervalued myself going into Beijing," she confessed during her chat with Essence. "I just wanted to make the finals.
